The best ways to protect yourself and others from influenza is to cover your cough, wash hands frequently and stay away from sick people. If you are mildly sick, stay at home. If you have a high fever and feel very ill, see a doctor. Do not attempt to stockpile antivirals and supplies for personal use. Commercial supplies of antivirals and medical supplies are adequate to meet the current needs. If you have questions and concerns about Swine Flu feel free to contact the Pike County Health Department at 606-437-5500.
